Step Afrika! launches the first holiday show highlighting the African American tradition of stepping

On December 14, 2011, Step Afrika! premiered the world’s first holiday show highlighting the African American tradition of stepping. The production, originally titled Step Afrika! Holiday Party, gave a total of five performances to audiences at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington, DC.
