“Each year, the Soweto Dance Theatre invites a collection of artists and individuals from around the world to participate in this Festival. A rich experience that involves participants in daily cultural exchange, community service, and international exposure, the Festival is an excellent opportunity to learn the little-known dance and cultural traditions of South Africa as well as Europe and the Caribbean.
Step Afrika! USA is currently recruiting those with a special interest in Africa to join the US delegation to the Festival. Delegation members are expected to contribute skills and energy to the workshops and exchange process throughout our time overseas. For a festival package, contact Step Afrika! at 202/462-2595 or e-mail: stepafrika@aol.com.”
