For the first time, delegates from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc; and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. all participated in the Festival. Students were able to learn the step traditions from each of these organizations.
Dule Hill, featured actor of The West Wing and Pysch, also joined the American delegation, introducing the art form of tap for the first time.
