Heard on All Things Considered By Michele Norris

“The dance style called “Step” has long been a tradition in black fraternities and sororities. NPR’s Michele Norris introduces us to a dance troupe in Washington, D.C., that’s taking it to new places. The troupe is called Step Afrika, and it uses dance to bring together African Americans, Africans, and others.” – Michele Norris
